On the way back from Nanjing Tulou, we dropped by at Fujian Nanjing town for their popular sweet potato noodles. My relative's friend Aun Aun is from Nanjing but working at Xiamen. She missed the noodles and strongly recommended that we must try. Yes it is rather different, the noodles look translucent grey, slippery like glass noodles but broader. You can eat it dry with an assortment of ingredients, with clear broth or sarcha broth.
After boosting our body energy with the noodles for lunch, we headed to this newly opened Buddhist Meditation Temple at Nanjing. Not much is said about this temple as it is still new with much to be done and complete. It is quiet, peaceful and serene with few visitors when we were here.
Perhaps, I will be able to get more information about the temple during my next visit in a year to come.
