SUNWAY PYRAMID AND SUNWAY LAGOON

I had visited these 2 places years ago.  These places are in my must visit list this time when I travelled to Kuala Lumpur with my group of friends and relatives [young and old].   It is very convenient to get to these places with public transport now.

Sunway Pyramid is a shopping mall located in Bandar Sunway, Subang Jaya. Developed by Sunway Group, this complex was opened in July 1997.
The Sunway Lagoon is a theme park in Subang Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia. It was officially opened by the former Prime Minister Tun Mahathir bin Mohamad on April 23, 1993.
HOW TO GET THERE – If you wish to visit these places using public transportation, I recommend that you use the KTM Komuter train [the Batu Caves/Pelabuhan Klang Line]. Take the train to Setia Jaya Station, walk up the stairs to the Komuter train ticketing office. From there walk a short distance and you will see an escalator leading to the BRT station. From here you can hop on to the Rapid Bus which will bring you to Sunway Pyramid and Sunway Lagoon.
At the time of my visit, we travelled the BRT free of charge [click here] because it has just started operation. Was told that the free charge is only for a month. If you do not wish to travel with the BRT, then you can get to these places with a taxi.
